In January of 2012, five talented young men with varied performance backgrounds teamed up to form the a cappella group reVoiced. Their goal was to share their love of music with audiences around the world. For the past several months, they have been organizing, rehearsing, writing, arranging, recording, and networking, and it has paid off.
On October 21, nine months after their first meeting in Long Island, New York, reVoiced willl be taking their powerhouse vocals and hard-hitting rhythms to the high seas. The five-man vocal group will board the the Epic, Norwegian Cruise Line’s largest and most luxurious vessel, in Barcelona, Spain. For the next two weeks, reVoiced will headline shows on the main stages of the Epic as it sails to the island of St. Thomas in the Carribean sea. The final leg of the trip will then end in Miami, FL.
The Norwegian Epic earned the title of best cruise ship entertainment by USA Today in 2011, and features such acts as Blue Man Group and Legends in Concert. The guys of reVoiced are thrilled to have the opportunity to perform on the Epic.
The members of reVoiced, all in their 20’s, enjoy not only musical chemistry on the stage, but they have great friendships within the group. They look forward to traveling together and having a great time on and off stage. “It’s a blessing to be able to truly love what you do and who you do it with,” Says reVoiced baritone Zakk Wooten. “I can’t wait to start making music and hanging out with the boys again!”
ReVoiced will be recording their performances, as well as other mischief and mirth around the ship. To see all the videos and photos of their cruising adventures, connect with reVoiced on Facebook, Twitter, andLinkedIn.
